So I made every session I planned to do and at the end of the week I feel good. No injury issues. Improved eating by avoiding snacks and sweets, except on Sunday which was Fathers Day. I now have a massage gun.

Massage. Some tightness in left hamstring and lower left back. Need to be careful how I am sitting in my day job.

September 1

Tempo at Adcock. Nice sunny day 10:45 21 degrees. Light winds.

2 * 3 * 200m (400-200 lane 5). Walk back cut across curve).36.3, 37.6, 37.9; 35.7, 37.0, 37.7.

September 2

Acceleration at Adcock.

4 * 20m @95% every 90s

4 * 30m every 2 mins.

Coming up too quickly and too upright. Keep working on the left arm.

September 3

No track

5 minute plank workout. Failed last 30 secs. Rest where crunches will be.

September 4

Speed at Adcock. Runs done with reasonable tailwind.

4 * flying 20s with 30m build up every 2:30. Trying too hard on this first set.

3 * flying 25s with 35m build up every 2:30. Felt better.

Push ups – 15, 15, 10. 1:30 rest.

September 5

Tempo at Adcock. Swirling wind mainly behind on bend.

5 * 200m. Aim around 36-37s. 36.6, 38.4, 37.5, 37.4, 38.7.

Could have done a second set but out of time.

5 minute planks. Failed first single leg and last 28 secs. Rest where crunches will be.
